This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–5 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Houston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

A sweet, wholesome, and delicious hole in the wall establishment! This place is worth giving a try if you’re in the area! Customer service is great and there’s rarely a long line.

Sweets Oyatsu absolutely deserves 5 stars! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and welcoming. What really made the experience stand out though was the incredible service from Cel. They were so kind, patient, and genuinely friendly, and you could tell they really care about making every customer feel comfortable and taken care of. Cel gave great recommendations and made the entire visit feel personal instead of rushed, which is something you don’t find everywhere. I ordered the Hojicha drink, and honestly, it was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with that deep roasted taste hojicha lovers look for. It was comforting without being overly sweet, and you could really taste the quality and attention that went into making it. Every sip was amazing. The combination of excellent customer service and such a thoughtfully made drink made this place unforgettable. It’s clear that Sweets Oyatsu puts care into both their menu and the customer experience. Huge shoutout again to Cel for being so welcoming and making my visit even better. I’ll definitely be back for another Hojicha soon, and I’ll be recomme

Probably the best strawberry matcha I have ever had. They make the strawberry jam in house and it add such a wonderful sweet balance to their robust, silky matcha. The people there were incredibly friendly, explained their menu to me and gave me recommendations. I also had the strawberry daifuku, which was the perfect texture and bright flavor. It felt like eating two ladies mochi in Hawaii again (iykyk). Definitely a local hidden gem worth checking out!

We first heard about this shop a couple years ago but it was always sell out whenever we came to pop-up at Daido. We are so glad we finally made it here and got matcha and hojicha (roasted green tea) cheesecake slices. Both of them were good. I love sweet red beans as well as cakes so we want to come back for traditional Japanese sweets like mochi. The staff who helped us was friendly and nice. Thanks for bringing Japanese oyatsu (snacks) to Houston!

After visiting Japan and falling in love with their traditional confectionary, it made me so happy to find out that I could get them here at home! I love that the treats from Sweets Oyatsu have an American twist sometimes because it makes for a delicious mesh of cultures! I look forward to trying different sweets each season.
